This course is elective in the degrees of BSc in Computer Science and in Electrical Engineering at the University of La Laguna. Its main goal is to introduce into basics of Computer Security and to deepen students' knowledge in the area of design and implementation of cipher methods and cryptographic applications by explaining and illustrating some of the most important and fundamental algorithms.
